All about me

Hello, my name is Beth and I am a fully qualified holistic massage and beauty therapist. I am a member of, and insured with The Guild of Holistic Therapists, The Guild of Beauty Therapists and the Guild of Nail Technicians.

For many years I had enjoyed and benefited greatly from receiving massage treatments and so following a long term illness I made the decision to have a complete change in career and so initially studied whole body massage at Bridgwater College.  I absolutely loved it and realised that massage was a wonderful thing to give as well as to receive.  I graduated with Distinction which was an amazing feeling and so decided why stop there?!

I went on to do a number of other massage courses and also some beauty courses.   The wonderful thing about this industry is that there is are so many opportunities out there to continually learn and develop your skills and techniques.  I was hooked and so explored as many potential courses that would allow me to offer a wide range of treatments.

For me it is important to be able to offer a range of treatments that don't just make you look and feel good, but also have so many health benefits to help you to look after yourself.

I learnt the hard way just how important it is to take time out to look after yourself both mentally and physically.  Due to a number of reasons I became extremely ill with severe depression and anxiety and ended up having a complete breakdown.

This is why And breathe is so important to me and why my ethos is not about rushing and doing quick jobs but rather about slowing down, taking my time and ensuring my clients enjoy the whole experience of taking some time out for themselves and looking after themselves. I want to create a sense of balance and well being for my clients as well as myself.

I am extremely passionate about what I do and can finally say that I now have a career that I love and enjoy. Getting to meet people of all ages, from all walks of life and to be able to make them feel good is incredibly rewarding.  I take a great deal of pride in the treatments that I offer and I aim to ensure that my clients are totally happy with the treatment/s they have received.

So, why mobile?

I decided that I wanted to set up a mobile business so that I can make all the treatments I offer totally accessible to everyone. I love meeting people and working on a 1:1 basis. I don’t like to rush and I don’t want my clients to feel like they have to rush. These treatments are to be enjoyed and so by being mobile, it feels like I can offer a truly personal experience. Not everyone is able to get to a salon or spa and in all honesty, not everyone wants that salon or spa experience.

Why choose a mobile therapist?

  • It can be more convenient than having to get to an appointment
  • Not everyone wants to go to a salon or spa
  • It can save you both time and money
  • No hassles in finding a car parking space or worrying about the ticket running out
  • No driving involved allowing the benefits of the treatment to be extended, leaving you relaxed for longer.
  • It is an ideal option for someone with mobility difficulties or recuperating from illness or an operation
  • It can be more flexible
  • It can be a more manageable option for someone suffering with anxiety and/or depression
  • Treatments are accessible to everyone
  • It is the ultimate in 1:1 appointments - no waiting around and no rush at the end to get out

Products I use

I choose the products that I use carefully and ensure that everything I use is cruelty free and suitable for vegetarians and vegans. Where possible I use products that are organic or contain naturally derived ingredients and are free from Parabens, Sulphates, Propylene Glycol and Mineral Oil.
